Email dystopian-daily-news@proton.me with subject starting REPLY: — include the dispatch URL and your statement. Verified responses from named parties will be attached to the dispatch as an editor's note within 72 hours of verification.

We reserve the right to condense for length and to require reasonable proof of identity. We do not edit the substance of a reply.

Full retraction — removal of a dispatch from the active index — is reserved for pieces that we determine, on human review, to contain material factual errors that cannot be corrected in place, or that unfairly characterize an identifiable individual in ways not supported by cited sources.

Retracted dispatches remain accessible at their original URL with a full retraction notice explaining what was wrong and why. This is a deliberate choice: memory-holed corrections are how bad reporting escapes accountability.

The bylines you see — Graves, Ledger, Meridian, Erasmus, and others — are fictional correspondent personas, not real journalists. This is disclosed on our staff page and on every dispatch.
