When you create an account via Supabase Auth, we store:

• Bookmarked articles and reading list selections
• Case investigation data (articles you add to cases)
• Account preferences and settings

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. The surveillance state is not our business model.

We use the following cookies:

• Supabase Auth cookies — Essential for keeping you logged in. These are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled.
• Google AdSense cookies — Used to serve relevant advertisements. Google may use cookies to personalize ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.

DDN relies on the following third-party services:

• Supabase— Authentication and database. Your account data is stored in Supabase's infrastructure. See Supabase Privacy Policy.

• Upstash Redis — Rate limiting and caching. No personal data is stored beyond temporary request metadata. See Upstash Privacy Policy.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated personal data (email, bookmarks, reading lists, cases) will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to individual users.

You have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Export — Download your bookmarks, reading lists, and case data.
• Delete — Permanently delete your account and all associated data.
• Correct — Update or correct any inaccurate personal information.
• Object — Opt out of non-essential data processing.

DDN is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
